The Guild (open to both men and women) Officers for 2010 are Rosalie Hardman – President, Lea Ann Bochnak – Vice President, Laura Kanarsky – Treasurer, and Debbie Albarran-Sotello – Secretary. Food Collections

The Guild is collecting food for the needy during this Christmas Advent Season. Please bring in any non-perishable food item that you wish to donate and place them
in the food basket in the vestibule near the restrooms. No item is too small just be sure they are non-perishable. All food items will be distributed through the South
County Food Bank. Share your bounty this season with those who are in need.

Pelican Point Brunch

On December 6th The Guild (men and women) will be hosting an “Appreciation Sunday Brunch” following Divine Liturgy. The Brunch will be at the Pelican Point Resort Clubhouse (just off Center Road near the YMCA in Venice). The cost will be partially covered by The Guild with guests responsible for only $7.50 plus beverages. Please make your reservations with Lynn Morris ASAP. THERE WILL BE NO COFFEE HOUR ON DECEMBER 6TH BECAUSE OF THE BRUNCH!

The Guild has once again made available their wonderful Stuffed Cabbage! Marie Maruskin’s famous Nut, Poppy Seed and Apricot rolls are also available. All these items are so good – if you have not tried them don’t hesitate! A huge ‘Thank You’ to the ladies of our Community who work so hard to offer these delicious items to benefit Holy Spirit Church.

The ladies of the Women’s Guild have prepared stuffed cabbage (holupki), nut, poppy seed, apricot rolls and Perogi, and they are now available anytime. Just ask anyone in the kitchen or in the Women’s Guild and they can guide you to the proper person who will fill your order from our freezer.

The Christmas Boutique will be held on Saturday, December 6th from 9 am to 1 pm. We would like new (or nearly new) arts and crafts or other gift items that could be used for the Christmas Boutique. As usual, we are hoping for a big sale with many items and many customers. Please volunteer your help and support this important effort!

The Women’s Guild Christmas Season Luncheon (gathering) will be held at Crow’s Nest Restaurant on Sunday, December 7th at 12:30 pm. Please see Rosalie Hardman for your reservations. The cost is only $10.00 – The Women’s Guild will take care of the rest.

A very big “Thank You” to all the ladies in the Women’s Guild, especially for their tireless and important efforts to enhance our community life and worship!!
