Confessions are scheduled for Wednesday evenings, Saturday evenings and Sundays through Lazarus Saturday. Please see the Lenten Schedule or make other arrangements to participate in this essential element of our Orthodox faith. It is also especially important to be attentive to every service during Great Lent, if possible. Participation in Church Services strengthens and sustains us on our journey to Pascha.
Or Journey Through Great Lent
Published: March 25, 2009Posted in: Other News
Let us be ever mindful of almsgiving, daily Scripture reading and prayer, as well as fasting, on our journey through Great Lent. The Lenten Prayer of St. Ephraim is especially important and is included on the last page of the bulletin. Scripture reading, almsgiving and prayer (including the Prayer of St. Ephraim), and fasting as you are able, all help us to spiritually understand Christ’s Paschal offering and His victory over death by death.
