Member Profile: Al Jama

Alexander Jama was one of the original founders of Holy Spirit Orthodox Church. He helped renovate the original Wachovia Bank building and was an active participant in the liturgical life of the Church. Al was tonsured a Reader in 1990 by Archbishop Dimitri and is pictured here in a photograph from the 1990’s. Al’s wife Ann is still a faithful and active member of the Holy Spirit Community. Both Al and Ann have enriched our lives in countless ways. Today we remember Alexander at his two year memorial of death. May His Memory Be Eternal!
