The Holy Spirit Community is committed, with the OCA, to provide financial assistance to those who have been so severely stricken by the earthquake and subsequent catastrophe in Haiti. A special missions collection will be taken today the 17th, Sunday the 24th, and Sunday the 31st, to support the effort in Haiti. We will focus particularly on Agape Flights which is headquartered here in Venice. We have committed missionary funds to Agape for the last two years and have gotten to know them well. Agape Flights serves the people of the Caribbean Basin and Haiti as well as missionaries in Haiti and will be focusing particularly on recovery in Haiti as this disaster unfolds.

Help us as we begin this work of mercy and relief and especially remember to keep the people of Haiti close in your prayers.
